Hello! My name is Daniel Arter and I serve as Lead Pastor of Grace Reformed Baptist Church (Philipsburg, PA). In addition, I serve as a Chaplain through Marketplace Chaplains and I’m a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Theology student with an emphasis in Apologetics at Midwestern Baptist Theology Seminary of Kansas City, Missouri. My wife and I live in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, which is about 15 miles from State College (home of Penn State University).

Prior to serving at Grace, I served as an assistant pastor of Griggs Memorial Baptist Church (Greenville, SC), interim pastor of Rutherford Road Baptist Church (Greenville, SC), and as a youth pastor and deacon of Brisbin Baptist Church (Brisbin, PA). Education-wise, prior to Midwestern, I earned a Master of Arts (MA) in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Ministry & Leadership with a concentration in Apologetics & Biblical Worldview from Bob Jones University of Greenville, South Carolina.

This website is my professional website, particularly for academic work and writing. My scholarly interests are focused on apologetics, systematic theology, and philosophy. Though you will find material here concerning any number of different topics and concepts (particularly if they overlap my areas of interest).

As for my writings—you will find everything that I am legally allowed to post available for free under the writings tab (as well as any writings that I have that aren’t published). If I do not have permission to post a published work for free, I’ll simply link you to where you can access to the work instead.
